MOLOME was removed from Nokia Store for the coming of “Something New”

A lot of questions have come to MOLO these days about why MOLOME couldn’t be found on Nokia Store. The reason is … it was removed from Nokia Store for the coming of “Something New”… MOLO ^0^

“Something New” is actually now uploaded to Nokia Store but still be waiting for approval so please stay tuned. It might be published anytime. MOLO! ^0^

Hi guys! First of all, congratulations for the new version. I bet you had a lot of work!
However, I’m already facing a huge problem: I can’t pick photos from my galery. When I try, just appears a black image. And another big problem is that the app is more slower than before. To process the picture is taking ages!! Nowadays, in this smartphone revolution, this is truly unacceptable. If the app was designed to run at Belle, is not fair because you should think in the majority of users and your systems. To finish, another failure was remove great effects like Tilt Shift, Sunset, Smart Blue and Gentle Art. It’s a great iniative to put new filters (and they are gorgeous!), but the old ones should remain. That’s all! Hope my critics help to improve new versions!

yes, i totally agree with everything. and i have the same problem, i cannot use any picture from my gallery, it seems like it simply couldn’t be opened. But when i take a picture with Molo it works perfectly. But i use Molo to take pictures almost never, so this trouble is an endless frustration…

i’m missing some filters in the new version (e.g. tilt shift or the b/w-film, …) and the icons for the filters aren’t that explicit like in the old version
is there a way to get the old version back?

(another point wich is not really satisfying: pictures look normally better presented with a dark background – the new app and the “new” homepage are very bright!)

I’ve just downloaded the N97 version but it doesn’t work I mean, I cannot take pics from my gallery (cause the display remains black) and if I try to shot a pic and apply filters, then the app closes without saving the pic.

Whoops, spoke too soon… Just discovered a bug on my N97 mini, I think. I can’t use photos from my gallery, all that’s shown and uploaded is a black, blank screen… But it seems to work fine when you’re using photos taken on the spot with the Molome app itself. Anyone else experiencing this? Please please PLEASE do something about this, Molo Team!

The new version is working so slowly on my phone(5800) so I’ve went back to the 1.1.4. When I try to upload an image from gallery theres just black screen. Anyways I hope you solve it.

The notifications are working better and are easier to use now…

But sometimes, the “loading from gallery” fails…
It seems that, to make it works, I’ve to take a pic from molo first, discard it, and then load from gallery… but even with this, it sometimes loads nothing from gallery :-/
Maybe cause original pics are too big? (N8 takes pics in 12Mpx/3000×4000)
am I alone with this issue?

No, a lot of us have the gallery-pic-failure issue too, you can read it from previous posts in this thread. And that’s even with smaller-sized photos, like my N97 mini’s 5 mp shots.

Let’s hope Molome can fix this soon in an update. I’ve had to go back to v1.1.4 to regain better functionality. Not to mention I like the old filters better after all.

Sorry Molo……but I am so mad…I know you didnt mean to break Molome but the filters were what I loved. I think perhaps you are focussing too much on building a social network. The new filters are AWFUL. The best thing about Viridescent was the cool border it had…why did you add it again with out the border?
Normalise Bonita Pastela and Parlo ARE ALL THE SAME I will never use Pastela. Old paper Old Film all the old filters were waaaay better. The only new one I like is Vivid and Topaz.

Why cant you just put all the old filters back how they were and then add extra? Sophie Cam has about 25 filters.

I like some of the new features like the notifications. But Im so mad about the filters…all my pics look the same now because I can only use 2 or 3 of them. On the old version I use to try to use all of them. All my Molos are the same now
