MOLOME 2.0 for Symbian and MeeGo are now available on Ovi Store

MOLO has some good news as a New Year gift for you Symbian and MeeGo users…

Sure, it is MOLOME 2.0 for Series 60 5th, Symbian^3 including E6 and MeeGo which is now lived on Ovi Store already ! MOLOOO ^0^

What’s new on MOLOME 2.0? Please let MOLO introduce for you. MOLO ^0^

Firstly, the whole UI was newly redesigned and the application was rewritten from scratch to match latest technology. MOLO is quite sure that you will have better user experience by this neatly new design. MOLO ^0^

As you can see, no more big button on lower screen as old version anymore but replace with navigation button on the head bar instead. The lower tab menu bar is now reduced to just 3 items: “Timeline”, “Share” and “Me”. The Timeline tab contains Timeline of your following and Popular Timeline while Me tab contains notifications, your profiles and settings area. For Share button, once you press it you will be able to choose the source of photo you want to share which are “Camera” or “Gallery”.

If you choose the way to import photo from Gallery, please note that in this version you could share photo that wasn’t taken in ratio 1:1. You could zoom out until it fits the frame like shown below. MOLO! ^0^

MOLO did some change to filters on this version. Some filters are added, some are removed while some are improved.

However please note that they are not final version yet. More and more filters are being developed while the current filter are still on improvement. MOLO will be updated to you as soon as possible. MOLO ^0^

Once you are done on filter applying, you will be able to share to molo.me and your preferred social networks. Please note that some more social network options will be available shortly in future release. MOLO ^0^

The timeline was designed to let the photo display nicer. You are also able to “Love” the photo directly from the timeline by click on love button below each photos.

For notification, there will be a small badge shown on the tab indicate how many unread notification you have. Once you enter Notification tab, you will see that each of notification types is separated to tab. You will not miss any single notification! MOLO ^0^

If you need more friend, “Find Friends” and “Suggest Friends” features are waiting to serve you anytime on “Settings” tab.

Actually there are many more features in this. The latest version number for now (Feb 1, 2012) is MOLOME v2.0.4, available for every single Series 60 5th, Symbian^3 and MeeGo phones on Nokia Store.

If you face difficulty on installing from Nokia Store, you could download the installer from MOLOME for Symbian Download Page to your PC and install it on your phone manually as well. However this method is for advance user only since there are so many related technical issue for example Symbian Signed. MOLO >0<

Great! just installed the new version and it works fine on my C5-03 except that it can’t open large images from gallery. It doesn’t even give a warning for opening large files. But its actually acceptable. I hope in the next version users can combine filters. I think it would be more fun. Please add more filters. Thanks!

i have many many problems with my nokia 5530… I can not download the version 2.04 ….
After various problems I was able to download the version 2.02 but I can not open the gallery and crashes often.
I wanted to go back to version 1.1.4, but now I can not even install it … I do that?

this v2.0.4 is buggy.. Fix it plss…alot of bug happen to me..
1. twitter and facebook always need to login. but facebook login always failed
2. everytime i using this app it keep give same notification
3. i already upload about 100 pic, but got filter suddenly lock. (happen on this version 2.0.4)
4. everytime take picture, it goes black screen about 5 sec to display it.
5. my nokia e7 cant using landscape. i think not only happen to me.

Congratulations for the new improvements! The software is indeed faster and the “black screen trouble” seems to be over when we try to upload a picture from the gallery. And also, thanks to give Tilt Shift back!

Sorry, but the black screen trouble is still there in some form. I can’t load my large full-resolution 5-megapixel shots, but the 640 x 360 wallpapers and previous Molo-ized images that I tried out seemed to work.

Please fix this! It’s spoiling this beautiful update for me. If I can’t use my hi-res shots with 2.04, then I’ll have to go back to 1.1.4 for the meantime.

Hello Molo. It is now three days with an annoying problem in the application. Slow to load, and photos of the Timeline does not charge more than the first page.
This bug is happening for both symbian and also for the Android version.

We would like to be resolved soon.
